Dempster Highway
Home | Dempster Wilderness | Under Construction

The Dempster highway is Canada's most northern highway that runs close to 500 miles from Inuvik, Northwest Territories in the MacKenzie River Delta to Dawson City in the Yukon. It crosses the Arctic Circle and is one of the most senic and wilderness road trips available in the world. With the exception of the community of Fort McPherson there is only one gas station/motel on the route at the halfway point of the highway.
